Changing Your Password After Reset or Managing Password

If the Tech Department has set up a new account, or reset an existing account, users will need to change their passwords to gain access to all Google Apps and Network Accounts.

Using The Password Web Portal:

  • Go to
  • In the Username field, enter your current or assigned username. 
    • Example: username for is john.doe
  • Enter your Current Password. If this is a new account, a temporary password has been assigned. 
  • Enter you New Password twice. 
    • Requirements for your password:
      • Not contain the user's account name or parts of the user's full name that exceed two consecutive characters
      • Be at least eight characters in length
      • Contain characters from three of the following four categories:
        • English uppercase characters (A through Z)
        • English lowercase characters (a through z)
        • Base 10 digits (0 through 9)
        • Non-alphabetic characters (for example, !, $, #, %)
  • Click Change Password.
That's it! You can now log into your email at and log into any district computers using your username and password!
